Planning for your Denver photography session can be a little stressful. Choosing the right outfit, props and poses require a lot of thought. However, there are other things to consider in the days and weeks before your session.
Sun burns and tan lines. Limit sun exposure prior to your portrait session to avoid burns or tan lines. If you plan to tan before your shoot, do so at least a week beforehand and don’t get burned. Sunburns, peeling skin and tan lines do not photograph well
Ironing. Iron the night before and then leave your clothes hanging over night. If you’re wearing something that wrinkles easily, don’t wear it in the car on the way to the shoot, you can change at our studio.
Bloating. Ladies, avoid high salt and high fat foods for two to three days in advance of your shoot. Being bloated will lower your confidence and comfort in front of the camera.
Skin. To keep your skin looking good, drink lots of water, and moisturize daily a week in advance of your shoot. Dry skin can really detract from a great photo shoot. When moisturizing, focus on your arms, shoulders, neck, face, hands, anywhere you’ll be exposed to the camera.
